The Louvre Museum Exhibition

Time fly so fast, it is already middle of May.
It’s the best season to go out for fun!
The other day, when the weather was nice, I decided to go to
the exhibition held in The National Art Center, Tokyo.

This exhibition is made up of 83 works that were carefully selected from the Louvre Museum.
A complicated moral lesson maybe put in the genre painting and people enjoy finding what is hidden behind.

In addition to Vermeer’s The Astronomer, the exhibition presents works by prominent painters from every era and region including Tiziano, Matsys, Murillo, Delacroix, Millet … allowing viewers to enjoy the diverse charms of genre painting.

Johannes Vermeer: 'The Astronomer', 1668

Tiziano Vecellio: ‘Woman with a Mirror’, around 1515

Quentin Metsys: ‘The Moneylender and His Wife’, 1514

Bartolome Esteban Murillo: ‘The Young Beggar’, around 1647-1648

There are only few days left for the exhibition, but, how about enjoying with your family or friends.
It is one of this spring's must-see exhibitions!
