Cassina - Fall/Winter Newness

We recently visited new product exhibition  of  Cassina ixc.

They were featuring thier masterpiece sofa "Maralunga"
as well as the newness, as it's having its 40th anniversary this year.

A Maralunga sofa was translunary floating on the water at the entrance.
This artwork was by a Japanese artist, Takahiro Matsuo.

One of the newness "Element" was one-leg standing table and console collection, designed by Tokujin Yoshioka. It is inspired by the crystallized quartz.

Another work by Tokujin Yoshioka was this low table collection  called " Hexagon".
It is inspired by the honeycomb and is able to coordinate with various sizes.

This is a new shelf collection of Charlotte Perriand, inspired by Kyoto's  Katura Imperial Villa's traditional alcove shelves. You can customize the design and color of the sliding doors.

We are able to introduce these newness of the Cassina.

Christmas around the world

We've got only half a month left before new year coming.

Christmas is coming pretty soon, "Christmas around the world" is  being held right now at the western style buildings located in Yamate, Yokohama.

I'd like to introduce some of their Christmas displays.

The Christmas balls designed by Arne & Carlos are hung on the tree.
Red and While knitted balls have traditional patterns on them. It reminds us warm Christmas celebration.

We feel as if we were in the deep forest when seeing the display. Dining table are coordinated in green and gold.

Ornaments are gorgeous and elegant enough to fit in the classical English room. There's also another Christmas tree outside decorated with different ornaments.
Each country has its own style of decoration for the Christmas tree.
