How was your OBON vacation ?

I hope you are enjoying the heat of Tokyo.
It is really hot every day.
When you go outside, the only word people say is ATSUI (hot!).

You may be back to work from yesterday, having finished your OBON vacation.

OBON is a Buddhist festival to recognize one’s ancestral spirits.
It is believed these spirits return to their families during this period.
People visit their family’s ancestral graves and make offerings of flowers and incense.

Our company, May’s, doesn’t have an official Obon vacation.
We had busy days as usual.

How was your Obon vacation?
Did you have enough enjoyment?
If you didn’t, please take a look at the picture below so you can at least feel a little taste of summer.
